Come play 18 holes on one of the South‘s best golf courses, stay in our 25-acre, wooded campground, visit America's first wave pool at our Waterpark, and/or cool off in the indoor ice skating rink!
Point Mallard's additional facilities include tennis courts, batting cages, hiking/jogging/biking trails, and a driving range. We will also be featuring the Alabama Jubilee May 27th - 29th, The Spirit of America Festival July 3 - 4, the September Skirmish will be held Sept. 1-2. The Campground and Ice Complex are open year round. Be sure to visit us this year. We offer fun for the entire family.
Point Mallard is located just a few minutes off I-65 midway between Nashville, TN, and Birmingham, AL, at Decatur Exit 340 or Decatur Exit 334. The park is open 365 days a year. Point Mallard Park is owned and operated by The City of Decatur.

This year round, "Good Sam Park" features 210 camp sites on 25 wooded acres. The campground offers a laundry facility, dump station, a grocery store (limited supplies), three covered pavilions with restrooms & showers, a enclosed meeting facility, kids playground, and grills. The campground is walking distance to the Golf Course, soccer fields, tennis courts, Water Park, and the Ice Complex.

- 210 shaded campsites
w/water, electricity, picnic table and charcoal grill
- 115 campsites have sewer hookups
- 25 campsites are 30' x 60' pull-thrus
- 3 pavilions w/showers and restrooms
