Description:

Gunter Hill Campground offers the peaceful scene of trees and nature overlooking the backwaters of the Alabama River. The fishing is excellent, providing challenges for the master angler as well as the occasional cane pole. The park also provides good bowhunting opportunities for whitetail deer.

Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. Catoma Loop is open from March 1 through September 30. Antioch Loop is open year round, and sites are $16/night. One camping unit and 2 vehicles are covered by the camping fee. There is a $2 visitor fee for non-campers. Group shelters are only available to campers. An attendant is on duty and the campground telephone number is (334) 269-1053. THIS CAMPGROUND HAS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE SITES
