Pickensville Campground, AL

Description:
Pickensville Campground is located on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. The Tenn-Tom Waterway is an outdoor enthusiasts' paradise. From picnicking to fishing to camping, the Tenn-Tom has it all. The Pickensville Campground offers 176 sites with electric and water hookups. Several sites have sewer hookups. Additional amenities include convenient access to boat ramps, shower and laundry facilities, sanitary dump stations, fish cleaning stations, handicap accessible sites and facilities, playgrounds, and multi-use courts. Gates open at 6am and close at 10pm. Campers and visitors are limited to 8 people per site including visitors. Visitor hours are 6am-9pm and will be charged a visitor fee of $3 per day. No vehicles are allowed entrance into the campground after 10pm.

Important Information

The campground is open all year and the fees range from $16-$20 per night. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance with a 2 night minimum on weekends and 3 night minimum on holidays. Reservations are taken 1 March thru 15 September and our Walkin Season (NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED) is 16 September thru 28 February. The campground gates are open from 6AM-10PM and visitor hours are 6AM-9PM. A fee of $3/day will be collected at the campground for extra vehicle (3rd/4th) and visitor fees. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms and must be kept on a leash under 6ft. in length. Please be sure to completely extinguish fires and deposit all garbage in trash compactor near the dump station. From Tuscaloosa, take US 82 west to the junction with US 86. Turn left onto US 86 west to Pickensville. The entrance road to the campground is 2.5 miles from the yellow caution light.
