Camping Reservations
Forkland Campground is located on Demopolis Lake 9 miles north of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Demopolis Lake is the largest lake in the Black Warrior-Tombigbee system, covering 10, 000 acres. Two campgrounds, many day-use facilities, primitive camping areas, and a full service marina are available. The region is excellent for hunting, and game is plentiful. The campground offers 42 sites with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include dump station laundry facilities, hot showers, and a boat ramp.

Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holiday weekends. Gate closed 10pm to 6am.

Camping Reservations

From Demopolis, AL, go 9 miles north on US 43, follow signs and turn left on county road (unpaved), go approximately 1 mile to campground entrance. The road entering Forkland is in the process of being paved. Work is scheduled to be completed by December 2003.
