Description:
In Alabama's Black Prairie Belt, Miller's Ferry campground, also known as the East Bank campground, offers excellent fishing and camping. There are numerous crappie and bass tournaments during the year as well as festivals and Civil War re-enactments.

* Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. * The campground is open year round and sites range in price from $14-$16/night. An attendant is on duty and the campground telephone number is (334) 682-4191. One camping unit and two vehicles are covered by camping fee.

From Camden, AL, travel 12 mi NW on SR 28, turn right before the Lee Long Bridge. Follow signs into the campground. From Hwy 5, go 10 miles on 28, cross the river and turn left. Follow the signs.
